Customer Service Representative / Alarm Dispatcher

Come join our team as a Customer Service Representative at our Monitoring Center located in Freeport , Long Island , NY . We are currently hiring for the day, evening and overnight shifts. Part time and full time positions are available.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Monitor systems for alarm signals and responds to alarms using the information provided on instruction screens.
• Places necessary outgoing calls to verify an alarm, dispatches the proper authorities, and notifies responsible parties.
• Needs the ability to remain calm and speak clearly to customers.
• Properly documents all responses for the alarm within the alarm monitoring software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a minimum of one year customer service, call center experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions including Microsoft Windows.
• Ability to type 20 Wpm minimum.
• Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Needs the ability to prioritize.
• Needs the ability to work independently or as a team member.
• Must have the flexibility to work weekends or other shifts.
