Come join our team located in Freeport , Long Island , NY . We are currently hiring for weekdays 9a.m. to 5p.m. Part time and full time positions are available.

Summary: Generates sales and leads for new installs, conversions, system takeovers and special marketing programs by responding to incoming calls from prospective customers and efficiently and effectively facilitates the sales process with courtesy and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following:
  • Respond to inbound calls from potential customers who are generally responding to advertising programs
  • Provide potential customers with relevant information including, but not limited to, product features and benefits, pricing and additional system information
  • Use sales guidelines to sell a New York Merchants Protective system, inform prospects of features and benefits as well as overcome objections and convert prospects to customers
  • Contact cancellations and attempt to reschedule the installation date
  • Collect information for the marketing department.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must be able to exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to solve problems while exhibiting good judgment and a realistic understanding of issues. The individual must be able to follow policies and procedures, and show team building and leadership skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma.
Previous sales/call center experience preferred.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Proficiency with computer software (Word, Excel, etc.).

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, prospects, customers, and the public.
Ability to speak multiple languages desirable.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including monetary units.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
