New York Merchants Protective Co. selected for fire alarm and related services at
NYC Queens Hospital Center

Freeport, NY – Patients and staff at Queens Hospital Center have one more reason to count on the center for the best in health care and safety.

Starting September 2007, New York Merchants Protective Co. will provide the center with its nationally recognized fire alarm services.

In a new agreement with the New York City Health and Hospital Corporation – Queens Health Network, NYMPC will be the agency responsible for fire alarm systems at each of the center’s medical facilities at the Jamaica, NY campus.

Opened in January 2007, QHC’s new six-story Ambulatory Care Pavilion covers 142,000 square feet and is expected to serve 135,000 patient visits each year. As a whole, the Queens Hospital Center encompasses 360,000 square feet, comprised of more than 250 inpatient beds.
