New York Merchants Protective Co. receives internationally recognized FM approval
Central station certified for conforming to the highest standards in loss prevention, alarm monitoring and dispatching
Freeport, NY – New York Merchants Protective Co., Inc. is pleased to announce that its central station operations have been FM-approved by the leading third-party certification company.
The FM Approval certifies that NYMPC's central station facilities and associated monitoring services have been objectively tested and that they conform to the highest national and international standards. Recognized around the world, the FM Approval mark indicates that NYMPC is in strict compliance with rigorous loss prevention guidelines as a provider of fire alarm monitoring and protective equipment supervision.

- Retransmission of signals to corresponding agencies and/or emergency responders.
- Dispatch of “runners” or emergency personnel to the protected property.
- Record-keeping of all events and signals to be used for investigative or insurance purposes.
