New York Merchants Protective Company secures new partnership with Filene’s Basement
Security services provider handling system installation and ongoing operations for three of the national retail chain’s newest locations

New York, NY – New York Merchants Protective Company will expand its partnership this year with Filene’s Basement, the national department store chain headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts. 

Since November 2006, NYMPC has installed its comprehensive security services at new Filene’s Basement locations in Levittown, NY, and Lawrenceville, NJ. Installation is currently underway at a third location in Vienna, VA.

Known nationally for its fast response to emergency situations, NYMPC won installation rights to its first Filene’s location last November in exactly that type of crisis.

When another provider was unable to install the security system at Filene’s new Levittown location just days before the store was expecting stock shipments, New York Merchants Protective Company was called in for immediate help. NYMPC sent a seven-man task force to Filene’s on a Saturday morning, and installation was complete by the next day.

Since then, NYMPC has been selected to oversee the security system installation at two additional Filene’s Basement locations, with possibly more on the way.
